The idea behind was so clear — to encourage and push the team to do their best. Most of the time it worked really well, and the times that it didn’t, there was a good feeling and huge satisfaction with ourselves because we did our best. There was no such thing as defeat.
When it comes to writing or any field you are in is the same. If you believe and act as if the piece you are about to write is the last one, certainly you will create a masterpiece.
You only have one chance to express yourself so that’s the momentum to do your best.
I use this technique for every task I have to do. At work, at home, or anytime I need to complete a task.
Magic things happen when the piece isn’t dirty

I can easily find my unique voice when I write with the intention of not getting traction and followers.

Get gratification and be proud of what you created
Whenever there is a sense of accomplishment a feeling washes over us. You are proud of yourself and that is the gasoline to create more, more, and more content. It’s the inexhaustible source of power to keep moving forward.
When you are proud of yourself nothing and nobody can stop you. Nobody else has the power you have. You are the architect of your life on your own terms.
You are proud of what you created, not how this will get traction. When you write a piece putting your heart and soul, you can believe how damn you were able to create that kind of content.

Whenever I read a piece and the piece delivered what its headline promised, I feel happy and so thankful to the author. Because I have new things, pieces of advice, or takeaways at hand to work and put into practice. That kind of piece makes me feel happy and alive.
